If an STI is offered at Penn State Berks, you must take the STI at Penn State except in cases of extreme hardship.  An extreme hardship waiver must be applied for and approved by both the Affiliate Director and your School Superintendent.   Penn State 2012 Summer Training Institute Costs Tuition per STI course:  $2,100  Room Only:  $850 (12 nights, air-conditioned, Internet equipped, secure dorm, private room and private bath) Full Commuter Meal Plan: $450 - Includes all catered meals including 10 hot breakfasts, 10 lunches, 8 dinners, 20 break refreshments (no Friday night dinners) Full Room and Board Plan: $1,300 – includes all catered meals including 10 hot breakfasts, 10 lunches, 8 dinners, 20 break refreshments (no Friday night dinners, no weekend meals) There are over 100 restaurants within a 2 mile radius of our campus.)
