Can any PLTW Engineering Courses Be Taught By Other Than A Tech Ed Teacher?  The qualified answer is "yes, but...". The PA Dept of Education has indicated that PLTW courses shall be taught by a Technology Education certified teacher. Science and Math certified teachers would be permitted to teach PLTW if they passed the Technology Education Praxis and added it to their certifications. Jeff Earle of Forest City (who has passed the Praxis) advises he used the Teacher's Wraparound Edition of Technology by R. Thomas Wright as a Study Guide.
